Visit the Roman Baths, from which the city takes its name, and see the hot thermal pool of the ‘Great Bath’. This morning a scenic drive through beautiful countryside brings you to the spectacular Longleat Stately Home near Warminster. Experience a Cultural Insight into English heritage when you take an included guided tour through one of the finest stately homes open to the public. Currently home to the 7th Marquess of Bath, Longleat House is set within stunning ‘Capability’ Brown landscaped parkland and contains priceless antiques. Later stop in the picturesque town of Lacock with its honey-coloured stone cottages and 15th century inns. This morning stop in the medieval village of Dunster with its picturesque thatched cottages. Within the village you will find over 200 listed buildings as well as the 17th century yarn market which is where wool and cloth were once traded. Drive through the unique landscape of Exmoor National Park with its moorland, woodland, valleys and coastline which has been shaped by people and nature over thousands of years. Enjoy free time for lunch in the Devonshire village of Lynmouth where you may consider a ride on the famous funicular cliff lift.
