THE SCOTLAND & IRELAND ODYSSEY TOUR offers the best of what Scotland and Ireland has to offer!
Only 30 people on Coach
The Scotland & Ireland Odyessey Includes All Of This:
Spend your first day exploring the Victorian maritime city of Edinburgh. See all of the sights from the comfort of the hop-on, hop-off bus before meeting with your tour guide and the rest of your group for a welcome dinner.
On day two the coach departs Edinburgh, heading for the city in the heart of the Highlands, Inverness. Along the way you will stop in at the Blair Athol or Edradour distilleries for a taste of Scotland’s finest produce, whisky. On arrival in Inverness you can take a stroll along the picturesque River Ness or see if you can spot the famous Loch Ness Monster.
Today you will take a ferry to the Isle of Iona, a fascinating island on the fringes of Scotland’s coast. Visit Iona Abbey, where monks and religious people lived, worked and worshipped for centuries, as well as the various other attractions that give a fascinating insight into early medieval Scotland. From there you will return to the peaceful seaside town of Oban for the night.
Your second day in Oban will be spent undertaking an unforgettable Scottish experience; a cruise along the stunning Loch Lomond. Take in the awe inspiring landscape and native wildlife, and don’t forget your camera.
You return to this enchanting city in preparation for heading across the water to Northern Ireland. Explore the imposing St. Mungo’s cathedral, which dates from the 12th century and has an intricate and intriguing history.
Today you will sail across the Irish Sea to the dynamic capital of Northern Ireland, Belfast. Delve into the city’s dramatic history and of course, learn all there is to know about its most famous export, the Titanic.
Travel to the mystical heart of Ireland and see some of the oldest man made structures in the world, the megalithic cairns at Loughcrew. From there, enjoy a boat trip on Lough Ree, a popular spot for fishing.
Today you will see some of Ireland’s most breathtaking scenery. The otherworldly karst landscape of the Burren followed by the sweeping, misty Cliffs of Moher, followed by crossing over the Shannon Estuary to ‘the Kingdom’, county Kerry.
You have the full day to explore the wild unspoilt countryside of Kerry. Take a road trip around the Ring of Kerry, a 180km stretch of road that passes through the most beautiful parts of the entire country.
You take the scenic route back to Dublin, stopping along the way at Blarney Castle (where you can receive the ‘gift of the gab’ by kissing the famous Blarney Stone) and the ‘Garden of Ireland’, the luscious Wicklow Mountains. You will stay at a hotel near the airport before catching your flight the next day.
Time to say your goodbyes
